All of our web sites are G-rated, and totally safe for your kids to browse for fun or for school research. is an online bookstore filled with the best Adirondack literature ever written. Many titles are from tiny publishers and are not widely available in stores or on the internet. We also showcase the works of author William J. O'Hern, the founder of features a growing collection of information about the Adirondacks, interesting facts, stories, links and a timeline. Our plans to grow include a section of legendary Adirondack characters, pioneer traditions and a bookstore area with vintage books and photographs. is all about Louis Seymour (AKA Adirondack French Louie) and the classic book about him by author Harvey Dunham. Roy Reehil and William O'Hern have a new book about Louie and his biographer called Adirondack Adventures which is also featured on the site. is a site dedicated to the memory and legacy of Noah Rondeau, the Adirondack Hermit and the books that have been written about him.

Our first web site, focuses on the books we publish plus a wide variety of information about the outdoors and foraging information. There you'll find our Virtual Wild Food Field Guide our gift, painting and photo galleries, Adirondack fishing pages and our Field guide store. is all about mushrooms, mushroom hunting and mycology. is our newest site and is under construction. We'll have recipes and cookbooks and soon we'll unveil our how-to pages on a variety of international cooking styles.

Our privacy policy is very simple:
We will never share or sell any information about any customer, ever.

Our return policy is to insure your satisfaction. If you require a replacement due to damage, return the item with a note on the packing slip about the problem and your desired resolution. We'll immediately ship a replacement and credit you for your shipping costs upon receipt of the returned item or, if you do not desire a replacement we will credit your account the full amount of your purchase price plus return shipping costs - no questions asked. Please include your phone number on the packing slip or note. Undamaged goods must be returned within three days of receipt.
